Parry Sound 12 is currently under control at 0.1 of a hectare on the southern shore of Limburner Lake, which is northeast of Gravenhurst.

There are three additional active fires in the region, two of which are being observed while the other is under control.

The fire hazard is low to moderate across much of the northeast region.

There are also two small areas in the central portion of the region, located north and south of Highway 101 and west of Lake Superior Provincial Park are showing a high hazard.
