Fire of Note:

Kirkland Lake 6, located northeast of Browning Lake and west of Holmes Lake, is 100 hectares and not under control at this time. There are five crews and three helicopters continuously on this fire. Helicopter bucketing is supporting ground crew suppression efforts. Trace amounts of precipitation overnight, reduced winds and higher relative humidity levels have reduced fire activity this afternoon.

The fire hazard in the southern and northern portions of the region range mostly from low to moderate, while central areas are seeing a high hazard today.
