OLG winner from Thessalon is $50,000 richer

Thessalon resident Bobbi Jo McColman has won $50,000 after purchasing a winning Instant $2 Million Extreme ticket at Pit Stop Gas Bar & Confectionary in Echo Bay. 

“It feels wonderful,” McColman said in a news release.

Bobbi Jo McColman of Thessalon is $50,000 richer after winning with Instant $2 Million Extreme (Game #2200).

The mother and grandmother said she randomly chose this ticket while at the store. “I played my ticket while having my coffee before work,” shared Bobbie Jo, who works at her local band office. “I said, geez that looks like I won $50,000! I checked it using the OLG App on my phone and when I saw Big Winner appear, I jumped up and my heart started pumping!”

Bobbie Jo said she ran to tell her husband and he didn’t believe her at first. “When I showed him, he was just as excited as me!”

She plans to pay some bills, invest, and share with her children. “It feels wonderful,” she smiled.
