Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) Board of Directors will hold its monthly board meeting at the agency’s office in Sault Ste. Marie on June 25 and 26, 2014.

“I am pleased to welcome OLG’s Board of Directors to Sault Ste. Marie,” said David Orazietti, MPP. “Our government and the OLG realize the significant role the Sault plays in the ongoing success of lottery and gaming in Ontario. This is an opportunity for Board Members to see first-hand the contribution our city is making to the industry.”

The June board meeting in Sault Ste. Marie is the first of what OLG expects will be a regular occurrence. In addition to holding its meeting, the Board will also tour OLG Casino Sault Ste. Marie and meet with municipal representatives.

The city is an important location for us, both as a corporate site and host community,” said OLG Chair, Philip Olsson. “I am looking forward to our meeting in the Sault. It is an opportunity for the Board to see OLG’s relationship with the city in action.”

Over the past year, the Ontario government has been assembling a new Board of Directors at OLG.

OLG’s Board includes: Philip Olsson (Chair), Gail Beggs, Sunir Chandaria, Mary Beth Currie, Edward Hannah, Urban Joseph, Frances Lankin, Joanne Lefebvre, Lori O'Neill, Orlando Rosa and Wilson Teixeira.
