Northern Ontario Country Music Association Awards postponed for second time due to COVID-19

The 2021 Northern Ontario Country Music Association (NOCMA) Awards Celebration weekend has been postponed yet again due to COVID-19 pandemic, the NOCMA District Reps announced in a news release issued this evening.

This event, pushed back for the second time, was to celebrate the 2020 NOCMA Great Northern Opry and NOCMA Hall of Fame inductees.

"This decision was made after much consideration and discussion. We want to thank everyone for their patience and resilience during this challenging time," the news release states.

"Rest assured we will be back to celebrating our NOCMA 2020 inductees as soon as it is safe, and we are committed to many more NOCMA country music celebration events in the future."

It is with great disappointment and regret we announce the Northern Ontario Country Music Association 2021 Awards Celebration weekend to celebrate the 2020 NOCMA Great Northern Opry and NOCMA Hall of Fame inductees has officially been postponed yet again.

In this time of continued COVID uncertainty and for the health and safety of our NOCMA members and fans, the District Reps wish to advise that our NOCMA events for 2021 are all postponed.

This decision was made after much consideration and discussion. We want to thank everyone for their patience and resilience during this challenging time.

Rest assured we will be back to celebrating our NOCMA 2020 inductees as soon as it is safe, and we are committed to many more NOCMA country music celebration events in the future.
