North Shore Tribal Council elects new Board Chair

Ogimaa Brent Bisaillon steps into the position following a vote at its recent Annual General Meeting

The North Shore Tribal Council has a newly-elected board chair.

In a release, the Council announced that Ogimaa Brent Bisaillon has been elected board chair, while Caroline Barry has been elected vice chair and Harvey Petahtegoose has been elected secretary treasurer.

From Serpent River First Nation, Ogimaa Bisaillon was voted as chair unanimously during its recent Annual General Meeting, and takes over for Ogimaa Reginald Niganobe from Mississauga First Nation, who is moving into a new role as Grand Council Chief of the Anishinabek Nation.
