Nominations open for city's Community Recognition Award

The city's Cultural Vitality Committee is accepting nominations for the Community Recognition Award.

Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13.

The award celebrates long-term commitment and innovation in the arts and culture community within the city.

The Cultural Vitality Committee is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the Community Recognition Award. Completed application forms must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., Monday June 13, 2022.  

The Community Recognition Award is offered annually by the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie upon recommendation of the Cultural Vitality Committee for activities which are considered to be particularly outstanding or innovative, or which have demonstrated long-term commitment to arts and culture as defined in the Cultural Policy for Sault Ste. Marie. 

Eligible nominees include individuals, groups, or community organizations. Nominators may make only one nomination each year.
