Nobody hurt, no tow required in Iron Bridge crash

IRON BRIDGE - On Sept. 24, 2016, members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17, in the Town of Iron Bridge.

Shortly after 2 p.m., a vehicle pulled out of a local gas station parking lot into the path of a westbound vehicle on Highway 17.

There were no injuries sustained and no tow required.

As a result of the investigation, Penn Andreola, 54 years of age from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with: Fail to Yield from Driveway, contrary to section 139(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
