No winner in Catch the Ace

$143,985 prize wasn't won so Jackpot will keep growing

The ace was not caught this evening at the Esquire Club on Second Line.

Frank Rende won $20,012 when his ticket was drawn tonight for the weekly prize but he didn't find the ace of spades.

Because tonight's jackpot wasn't won, the jackpot carries over to next Thursday when folks (18 and over) will have an opportunity to buy a ticket on the weekly prize (20 per cent of ticket sales) and a chance to Catch the Ace and win the jackpot.

Proceeds from Catch the Ace, a weekly progressive raffle lottery, will be split evenly among Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie and the Group Health Centre Trust Fund.

The lineup to purchase tickets at the Esquire Club was long tonight, so get there early next Thursday for a chance to win the jackpot.
