No more visitor restrictions at hospital

Norovirus-like symptoms had been to blame for affecting visiting hours

SAULT AREA HOSPITAL

Sault Area Hospital (SAH) has now lifted all visitor restrictions, including those on 3B and 3C.

SAH had previously restricted visitation in these areas as a result of an increase in Norovirus-like symptoms.

Restricting visitation was necessary to help stem the spread of infection in the hospital and protect the well-being of patients and staff.

Patients who are coming to SAH to access medical services and visitors are reminded to clean their hands often with the solution provided throughout the facility and to be respectful of any other direction or requests from staff.

SAH wishes to thank the public for their understanding and cooperation during this time.
