Their best guess as of 9:30 p.m. is that frontrunner Salomon Canada will arrive around midnight.
Second-place Water Tower Inn is running around three hours later.
We're unable to provide a prediction for arrival of the third-place Eastern Outdoors team.
10 p.m. tonight has been declared as the cutoff on the climbing ropes at Checkpoint 9 and there will be no activity on the ropes tomorrow.
As of 9:30 p.m., nine teams had proceeded beyond Checkpoint 9.
Eleven teams remain ranked in rthe competition. Spectators are welcome at the finish line at Searchmont resort..
Be aware that this sport is unusually unpredicatible.
You’d be well advised to show up well in advance of the midnight predicted finish time, and to be prepared to stay longer if the athletes take longer than expected.
