Mrs. B gets famous

Rene Berlingieri, who teaches Grades 3 and 4 at St. Hubert School, has been named Sault Ste. Marie's Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year. Mrs. B. was nominated by her student, Dalton Povey (shown with her in our photo).

Rene Berlingieri, who teaches Grades 3 and 4 at St. Hubert School, has been named Sault Ste. Marie's Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Berlingieri was presented with the award at her school, with the store manager and other Wal-Mart associates on hand for the occasion.

She received $1,000 to be spent at Wal-Mart for her school.
