Significant rainfall potential tonight into Saturday.
A low pressure system over the Plains States will track northeast to reach Lake Superior by Saturday morning. Periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of the low this evening and continue into Saturday. Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are expected with locally higher amounts possible for areas affected by thunderstorms.
A rainfall warning is in effect for Wawa and portions of Superior East including Searchmont and Agawa where rainfall amounts of 50 mm or higher are expected within 24 hours.
