OPP wish to advise that Hwy 129 between Chapleau and Thessalon is now open to traffic.

Hwy 101 has also reopened in all directions

The Wawa Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising the motoring public that Highway 129 between Chapleau and Thessalon is closed due to freezing rain.

No detour is available and the estimated duration of the road closure is unknown.
