More Moderna doses available at Rome’s beginning Monday

Loblaw Pharmacy at Rome’s, located within Rome's Your Independent Grocer at 44 Great Northern Rd., will be offering same day COVID-19 Moderna vaccination appointments between Monday, June 14 and Thursday June 17.

Pharmacy staff are asking people to call ahead at 705-253-2887, press 1, then 0 to reach a pharmacy staff member to let them know they will be arriving and to be booked in.

Those being vaccinated are asked to bring their health card.

The appointments are for the first COVID-19 Moderna vaccination dose for those 18 years of age and older.

The pharmacy has 200 doses of the Moderna vaccine available beginning Monday.

Vaccination times are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
