CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE

**************************** Around 7 p.m. last evening City Police attended at Wellington Street East and East Street for an accident with injuries.

A pickup truck driven by 58-year-old Garry McKinnon of 125 Grosvenor Ave. collided with a pedestrian, 60-year old Ronald Palmer of Korah Road.

Mr. McKinnon had been traveling westbound on Wellington Street East and the accident occurred on the curve of East Street and Wellington Street East.

Mr. Palmer was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of his injuries.

An officer from the Traffic Services Section attended the scene and is still currently investigating the accident to determine what occurred.
