Celebrate World Entrepreneur’s Day (WED) by attending the second annual World EntreBREWneur Day event on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Northern Superior Brewing Company, hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre and its YouLaunch division.

The event will bring together community members, young professionals and local business owners to network and enjoy all the local brewery has to offer. Guests will have the opportunity to taste Northern Superior Brewing Company’s signature beer and hear from local entrepreneur, Mike Sacchetta, co-owner of Maker North which is a 3D printing and maker service who will soon have a local maker space in Sault Ste. Marie.

“Maker North is dedicated to fostering great minds and giving them a place to create all types of things such as replacement parts, artisan pieces, prototypes and much more,” said Sacchetta.

World Entrepreneur’s Day officially takes place on Aug. 21 every year, with the purpose of creating global awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership. In Sault Ste. Marie, startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs of all ages are essential to the economic development and diversification in the community.

“Every day we should be celebrating innovators and people who start a business for their contribution to the local and global economy, and World Entrepreneur Day is a perfect way to draw special attention to the Sault’s entrepreneurs that make a difference in many ways, across many sectors,” said John Prgomet, business development manager at the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre.

Tickets are $10 each and include three drink tickets and plenty of opportunities to network. Guests must be aged 19+ to attend and purchase tickets, which are available here. There are limited tickets available, so those interested in attending should purchase their ticket as soon as possible. Limited tickets will be available at the door.
