Minnesota man found with child pornography at border

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE **************************** 36 year old Mark Jefferson of White Bear Lake in Minnesota was stopped by Canada Customs on June 27 while trying to enter Canada.

36 year old Mark Jefferson of White Bear Lake in Minnesota was stopped by Canada Customs on June 27 while trying to enter Canada.

He advised the customs officer that his reason for entering Canada was to meet a girl that he had met on the internet.

A secondary search was completed and a laptop was located containing child pornography pictures.

The accused was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and importing child pornography.

He is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on June 28.
