Things are really starting to take shape across the river in readiness for Kewadin Casinos' 25th Anniversary Summer Festival running July 22 to 24. Headlining acts include Brett Michaels, Vince Neil, 3-Doors Down and Meat Loaf.

Things are really starting to take shape across the river in readiness for Kewadin Casinos' 25th Anniversary Summer Festival running July 22 to 24.

Headlining acts include Brett Michaels, Vince Neil, 3-Doors Down and Meat Loaf.

Tickets are still available for all events, which will be held at Kewadin Casino Sault Ste. Marie from noon to 10 p.m., rain or shine.

"We started to set up our tents with the helpful folks from Parkers Ace Hardware," Sault Tribe's Michelle Bouschor tells us today in an e-mail.

"Many more tents to be set up tomorrow.

"We now have 30 vendors, over 20 local, regional and national bands playing starting at noon, and nearly 5,000 tickets sold so far. Going to be a great anniversary!"
