23-year-old Michael Gingras of Goulais River is in custody charge with assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation.
It is alleged that on the 26th of April, 2014, he assaulted another male known to him by punching and kicking him and breaking his nose.
Gingras will appear in bail court this morning.
