Mexican Masquerade will celebrate Latin culture in the Sault

Northern Ontario Latin-Hispanic Association is celebrating culture and community with their Gala Latina: Mexican Masquerade event on Oct. 22.

The event will feature food, local Mexican performers, keynote speakers a Brazillian artist and, the Sault Ste. Marie debut of a Mariachi Viva Mexican band.

Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite for $80.

Join us Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at 5 p.m. at the Delta Hotels Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront for the Gala Latina: Mexican Masquerade hosted by The Northern Ontario Latin-Hispanic Association (NOLHA).

For those who are unfamiliar, NOLHA is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to promote and celebrate Latin-Hispanic and Brazilian culture and heritage. NOLHA strives to enhance cultural awareness and enrich our community, providing experiences to further the understanding of the Hispanic culture.

We are excited to be hosting a Mexican Masquerade that is organized by many of our Latin members and volunteers from Latin America and Canada.

Doors open at 5 p.m. followed by an inspired Mexican dinner at 6 p.m.

Entertainment will follow at 7 p.m., supported by local Mexican performers, keynote speakers, a Brazilian artist, and for the first time in Sault Ste. Marie, a Mariachi Viva Mexican band.
