Mac Marcoux’s attempt at winning a third-straight medal at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia came to an end on Tuesday.

Marcoux missed a gate in the first leg of the slalom portion of the men’s visually impaired super combined event. That leaves Marcoux with a DNF heading into the Super-G portion of the super combined event, which was postponed to Friday due to fog.

Marcoux won bronze medals in the visually impaired downhill and Super-G events earlier in the Paralympics and has a pair of events left, including:

  • March 13 - Slalom at 4:00 p.m. (7:00 a.m. Sault)
  • March 15 - GS at 9:30 a.m. (12:30 a.m. Sault)
