Man 'stabbed several times', Joshua charged

At 1:51 a.m. on April 30, 2016 city police arrested 21-year old Joshua James Wilson of Albert St. West. 

City Police were called to the area of Albert St. West and Huron after an altercation took place on the street. It’s alleged that the accused was in a fight inside Redneck’s Saloon and assaulted two persons with brass knuckles.

Once outside, the disturbance continued and a male victim was stabbed several times.

The victim’s injuries were treated at hospital and are not life threatening.

The two victims from inside the bar received minor injuries but were not treated.

As a result of an investigation into the incident, Wilson has been charged with the following:  two counts of assault with a weapon, one count of possession of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckles), aggravated assault and breach of an undertaking. 

He appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) bail court on April 30, 2016 and has been remanded to the Algoma Remand Centre and is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on May 2, 2016 at 10 a.m.
