Male charged with assault of common-law partner

On the 28th of April, 2014, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated a domestic assault complaint.

Officers learned that a female had been assaulted by her 28-year-old male common-law partner.

The assault consisted of the female being grabbed and pulled by her hair.

The victim did not require any medical attention.

The accused has been charged with assault and will appear in bail court on April 28, 2014.
