Male arrested for theft and mischief

On September 9, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 21 year old Brent Boissoneau-Stone of Wellington Street East for theft and mischief.

It is alleged that just after 4 a.m. the accused attended a parking lot in the area of St. Mary’s River Drive. The accused broke multiple windows on two parked vehicles causing approximate $2,400 damage to the vehicles. The accused then took a number of items from each vehicle. The accused then entered three additional vehicles that were unlocked and took various items from those vehicles.

Officers located the accused a short distance away and he was taken into custody. At the time, the accused was in possession of the items that had been taken from the vehicles. He has been charged with;

  • Two Counts of mischief,
  • Five counts of possession of stolen property,
  • Five counts of theft under $5,000.
  • One count of possession of break in tools,
  • One count of breach of probation, and;
  • One count of possess on identity documents

He was held for bail court.
