On May 12, 2014 at approximately 8:30 p.m., patrol officers attended a residence for a domestic dispute.
Officers found that a 26-year-old male had assaulted his girlfriend with a broom handle.
The male was arrested for assault with a weapon.
The victim was not injured in the assault.
The accused will appear in court on May 13.
