Lucas chats on phone, switches seats. Charges ensue

Police stopped a vehicle on Black Rd. where the driver was allegedly talking on the cellphone while driving.
 
When lights were activated by the police officer the driver changed seats with the passenger while the vehicle was still moving.  
 
A records check on the driver showed that he was disqualified from driving as a result of an impaired driving conviction.
 
Lucas Leyenhorst age 25 from Red Deer Alberta was arrested and charged with one count of drive while disqualified under the Criminal Code as well as distracted driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
 
He is to appear in court on March 25 2013.
