City Police have reported four new break-ins this morning.
Downtown, someone got into Advanced Transmissions at 61 Queen Street East and Western Tire (Uniroyal) at 165 Queen Street East overnight. The pop machines were entered and a quantity of pop and coins were removed.
On Huron Street, there was a break-in to a rail passenger car. "The culprits took a large quantity of tools including fire extinguishers, hammers and pry bars, as well as causing minor damage inside," police said in a written release. And Tony’s Auto on Second Line East also had a break-and-enter. A 1996 Ford Explorer XLT was taken there. It's green with a grey interior and has no licence plate.
