City Police have reported four new break-ins this morning. Downtown, someone got into Advanced Transmissions at 61 Queen Street East and Western Tire (Uniroyal) at 165 Queen Street East overnight.

City Police have reported four new break-ins this morning.

Downtown, someone got into Advanced Transmissions at 61 Queen Street East and Western Tire (Uniroyal) at 165 Queen Street East overnight. The pop machines were entered and a quantity of pop and coins were removed.

On Huron Street, there was a break-in to a rail passenger car. "The culprits took a large quantity of tools including fire extinguishers, hammers and pry bars, as well as causing minor damage inside," police said in a written release. And Tony’s Auto on Second Line East also had a break-and-enter. A 1996 Ford Explorer XLT was taken there. It's green with a grey interior and has no licence plate.
