Local man charged with printing kiddie porn

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has charged a local man with printing/publishing child pornography and other sex-related offences. The charges, involving a 39-year-old Sault man, were laid at 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has charged a local man with printing/publishing child pornography and other sex-related offences.

The charges, involving a 39-year-old Sault man, were laid at 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

Police say the accused had been having forced sexual acts with a young female for about two years. He was also found to be in possession of child pornography images.

The man, who wasn't named by police, is facing charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, possession of child pornography, importing/distributing child pornography and printing/publishing child pornography.

He's due in bail court today.
