Local college gets new name

Exciting changes are afoot at one of Sault Ste. Marie’s newest private career colleges. After a corporate restructuring earlier in the year, the team at Asimco College of Business, Healthcare & Technology seized the opportunity to make a leap forward and thus, Gates College of Business, Culinary & Healthcare was born.

“When choosing our new name, and developing a new logo and materials, we sought to build a brand that aligned with our mission to help build bright futures for our students in an encouraging and positive way,” says the Brand Development Team.

“Traditionally, gates themselves are portals symbolizing a threshold or entrance into a new place, which is very much representative of our goal to inspire others to reach new places in their careers.”

The new Gates College of Business, Culinary & Healthcare brand will allow our students to gain broader recognition in the job market, as we not only continue to expand our program offerings but also extend our campus options into additional markets within Ontario. We hope to build a strong foundation in Sault Ste. Marie, much like we have done at our Cobourg campus for many years.”
