The Greyhounds are opening up a three-game homestand tonight while the Spitfires are playing their first of two games on the road this weekend.

Greyhounds coach Sheldon Keefe called the first two periods two of the wrost periods the Greyhounds have played all season.

Windsor coach Bob Boughner said his best players had a major impact in the win, including Josh Ho-Sang who had three assists

Sam Povorozniouk takes a great feed going to the net from Josh Ho-Sang for the Spitfires fifth goal of the evening, beating Murray alone in tight...5-2 Windsor

Windsor kills of the Povorozniouk penalty and the Greyhounds continue to trail 4-2 with six minutes left in regulation time

Sam Povorozniouk off for high sticking and the Greyhounds to the power play with just over eight minutes remaining in the third period

Bryan Moore centres the puck from the left corner and the puck banks in off Alex Fotinos to pull the Greyhounds to within two....4-2 Windsor

Patrick Sanvido, who was hit by Keigan Goetz in the second period and left the game, has not returned

Jared McCann takes a slashing penalty with 1:11 left in the period, sending the Spitfires back to the power play

Just 58 seconds after Johnson's goal, Giftopoulos takes a feed from Josh Ho-Sang and beats Murray with a backhand stick side on the play...4-1 Windsor

Ben Johnson in the slot takes a feed from Ryan Foss and beats Murray glove side at 17:38...3-1 Windsor

Just 30 seconds into four-on-four, Adam Bateman gets nabbed for tripping. The Greyhounds can't capitalize and Windsor remains up 2-1

Keigan Goetz with a heavy hit on the end boards on Ptrick Sanvido of Windsor. Eric Diodati steps in and fights Goetz. Minors on the board for both teams. Goets gets a minor for the initial hit and a fighting major. Diodati gets an instigator and will sit for 17 minutes

Windsor kills of the penalty to Janes and continue to lead 2-1

8:09 p.m. Update

Steven Janes to the box for Windsor and the Greyhounds to the man advantage. Greyhounds dodge a bullet on the play as the puck hits Matt Murray heading to the bench with 6 Greyhound skaters already on the ice but the play doesn't get called

Windsor continues to lead 2-1 with just over 12 minutes remaining in the second period. The Spirtfires hold a 17-5 edge in shots as well

Shortly after a great save by Matt Murray on Brady Vail in the slot, Remy Giftopoulos takes a nice feed from Josh Ho-Sang and one-times a feed past Murray for the power play goal...2-1 Windsor

Greyhounds kill off the minor to Gaudet...moments after, Brody Milne of the Spitfires finds himself alonge in close and he beats Matt Murray after a turnover by Sergey Tolchinsky...1-1

First penalty of the night goes to Greyhounds forward Tyler Gaudet for hooking with just over 10 minutes left in the period
