Still being able to drive safely in your "golden years" can be important for seniors when it comes to their sense of independence, being able to visit family and friends, go to doctors appointments or simply just get the groceries.

A refresher class on how to be a safe older driver is being hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library that may be just right for you or an older driver in your family.

The North Branch Public Library says it will be hosting the free "Seniors Keep Driving" information session in June.

Tim Howson, owner of Drive Experts Canada, will share tips to help you keep driving safely, the library said in a news release.

The program will be held at North Branch, 232C Northern Ave. E., Tuesday, June 20 at 1:30 p.m.

Registration begins May 30 at this eventbrite link.

For further information, contact the North Branch Service Desk at 705-759-5248.
