LETTER: 'I kidded Joe about breaking so many windows'

He was a special person and a delight to remember him

I was fortunate to meet Joe (Bumbacco) and his wife not too long ago.

I kidded Joe about breaking so many windows as his hits would fly over the fence and break a neighbours window at North Street Field.

The city had to install another 50 feet of fence to avoid breaking windows but Joe would still hit the ball over the extra 50 feet but usually stopped breaking windows then.

Joe and I laughed about that especially when the neighbours tried to sue the City for the broken Windows.
He was a special person and a delight to remember him.
