ARCH Hospice is proud to announce that the 20th Annual Run the Great Lakes is only one month away! This year’s run will take place on Sunday, June 10 at the Delta Hotel in Sault Ste. Marie.

If you’re new to the running scene, are an elite runner, or simply want to see what running is all about, Run the Great Lakes is the event for you this spring.

You don’t have to be fast - you can jog or even walk your way to the finish line while supporting ARCH Hospice and Sault Athletics. Join hundreds of others in Sault Ste. Marie’s biggest annual running event.

Along with the 5K and 10K loops, the Run Committee is excited to announce the return of the Kids Fun Run. Young people of all ages are invited to participate in a 1K or 2K run, regardless of skill level. If you are interested in registering your child for the run, click here.

“I’m very happy to see how this run has grown over the past 20 years. It started as a small event and it’s now something that hundreds of people participate in each year. We’re thrilled the ‘Kids Fun Run’ is becoming such a big part of the event! We saw over 50 children participate in the first year – we’re expecting double that this year!” exclaimed Doug Richardson, Run Committee Chair and owner of The Shoe Fits.

Challenge your fellow coworkers, friends, neighbours and family to take part in this year’s Team Challenge. You'll have a blast, feel great and maybe even win a few prizes.

Teams of similar sizes will compete for awards, all while helping to raise funds for Hospice and Sault Athletics. Every team challenge entry will be eligible for individual prizes as well as draws. If you would like to start or join a team, click here.

Last year, this run raised over $12,000 for ARCH Hospice and local families. Don’t miss this fun community event in support of local charities.
