SAULT STE MARIE AND DISTRICT LABOUR COUNCIL

The Sault Ste. Marie and District Labour Council and affiliates would like to invite the community to our Appreciation Event on Monday, September 1 at the Roberta Bondar Park and Pavilion.   

This year will mark 55 years of service by the Sault Ste. Marie and District Labour Council.

The day’s events will be start at 11:30 a.m. with a rally.  

Anyone wishing to participate please assemble at the Bondar Pavilion at 11 a.m. 

The Rally will leave the Pavilion, going past City Hall, proceed up Russ Ramsay Way/Brock Street to Queen Street. 

We will continue down Queen to Elgin and then return to the Pavilion.

The M&M Barbeque Crew will be providing free food and refreshments beginning at 12 noon, also available will be cotton candy, popcorn and snowcones.

The young and young at heart can participate in face painting, rally cars and the fish pond.

The Ironworkers Motorcycle Club’s will be having a show and shine. 

Participants must register from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Pavilion. 

Spectators are encouraged to stop and vote for their favourite.

This event qualifies for high school community service hours.
