Sault Ste. Marie votes in the KISS first-ever fan-routed tour competition have topped 10,000 this weekend.
At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the Sault remained solidly in the Number 3 position with 10,014 votes, behind Oshawa and Winnipeg but ahead of Kingston and Calgary.

KISS recently made headlines by appearing on the season finale of American Idol to perform with Adam Lambert.
In what many call one of the TV series' greatest moments, Lambert and KISS rocked out smoking hot versions of Detroit Rock City and Rock and Roll All Nite.
Unfortunately for Lambert, the performance wasn't enough to earn him the Idol crown.
He instead had to settle into the runner-up spot next to Kris Allen.
