Kenneth Morin: 1940-2014

SooToday.com has received the following notice from Beggs Funeral Home regarding Kenneth Douglas Morin, who served for many years with the Ontario Provincial Police as well as Fire Services

Ken Morin of Bruce Mines in his 74th year beloved husband of Carol Morin (Simbirski) for 51 years.  

Loving father of Martin Morin (Catherine) of Amaranth and Randall Morin (Mariola ) of Bruce Mines.  

Special Grandpa to Rachel, Elizabeth, Sarah and Nicholas.  

Dear son of the late Rene “Bin” and Edna Morin.  

Dear brother of Sarah, Edith, Nancy, Mary, Lois, Robert and the late Allan.  

Dear brother-in-law of William, Robert, Walter and the late Edward Simbirski.  

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  

Ken served the Province and his community through his many years with the OPP and Fire Services.  

At the request of the family cremation has taken place.  

Plans for a Celebration of Ken’s Life will be announced at a later date.  

Donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation gratefully accepted.
