Ontario Court Justice James Greco embarked on a sledgehammer-swinging tear today at Algoma University College, as the post-secondary institution broke ground for its new $6.1 million Information Communication Technology Centre.

Judge Greco, an adjunct professor of law and justice at the university, was one of several dignitaries who took turns demolishing an old portable that was part of the original AUC when it was based at Sault College.

The new building will house PUC Telecom, the AUC students' association, and a Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre technology incubator.

The university today took the wraps off some new 3D architectural renderings of the new building today.
