John Rowswell Hub Trail tops 'Best of the Lake' list

A number of area attractions make Lake Superior Magazine's annual list of favourites

It's that time of year again and a few businesses and attractions in our region have been awarded new bragging rights.

Lake Superior Magazine has released its Best of the Lake 2019 list as determined by its readers. The publication received votes from three Canadian provinces and 23 states as well as the District of Columbia.

Winners from Ontario, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin were selected in 10 categories, plus one ‘outside the box’ category where readers could give their favourite things about the big lake a little boost.

From the Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. area, the John Rowswell Hub Trail, Pancake Bay, and the Lake Shore Salzburger Hof Resort are among those that topped the list.
