It’s time for the 4th Annual Game On Neighbourhood Party! Sault Ste. Marie and District Social Services in conjunction with numerous community partners will once again be hosting the Street Party on Albion Street (across from the old Rosedale School) on Friday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Game On welcomes and encourages all community members to come out and enjoy a free BBQ and play a game of basketball or ball hockey. Other children's activities will also be available including face painting, bouncy castles, and arts and crafts.

“This year’s Game On Neighbourhood Party promises to be bigger and better than ever,” says Innovation Services Manager, Melissa Ceglie. “We have athletes, special guests, and for the first time, a live D.J. for everyone to enjoy.”

Community Programs Manager, Joanne Pearson added. “Social services are vital to our community’s health and well-being. Game On is a great way to celebrate all the great work being done in the community.”

“We are grateful for community participation as sponsorship and collaboration from numerous local businesses and organizations make this event possible,” said Ceglie. “The entire community is encouraged to join in the fun and have a good time while experiencing our local neighbourhoods.”
