People of all ages lined the streets of Batchewana First Nation for the community's annual Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony Thursday night.

A number of participants in the parade were spotted handing out gift bags and riding on the roughly dozen or so parade floats despite the heavy snowfall.

A tree lighting ceremony was scheduled to take place after the parade wound through the streets of Rankin.
