Inner City Surfer fans will make us eat foam for this

The last time we wrote about the Inner City Surfers, their loyal hometown fan base in the Sault thoroughly bullwinkled us for what we wrote. Not wishing to undergo that experience again, we'll keep this short and sweet.

The last time we wrote about the Inner City Surfers, their loyal hometown fan base in the Sault thoroughly bullwinkled us for what we wrote.

Not wishing to undergo that experience again, we'll keep this short and sweet.

The popular band of former Saultites got written up overnight by Chart magazine.

You can read all about how the work on their third album is going by clicking here.

The last time we featured the Surfers on SooToday.com was at the end of August when they were here to help raise money for the Superior Community Skateboard Association.

More recently, Lori Ballstadt, the City's assistant manager of recreation and culture, has been burning out our fax machine with requests to tell you about two important meetings this week about the Sault's new public skate park.

Very important meeting #1

The first is this Thursday night, 7 p.m. at the John Rhodes Community Centre.

That's to discuss potential sites for the new park.

The company that's making the site recommendation and designing the park will be there.

To see where they're talking about putting the park, please click here.

Very important meeting #2

The second meeting will also involve the park designers, this time in an interactive design session to determine what the park will look like and what it will contain.

That meeting is also at the Rhodes Community Centre, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. this Saturday.
