The Sault Ste. Marie Indian Friendship Centre and Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic this week, a news release issued this afternoon states.
The clinic, to be held on Wednesday, July 28, is open to youth and adults in the Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area who are Urban Indigenous (First Nation, Metis, Inuit), as well as the general population.
Youth aged 12-17 will receive Pfizer vaccines; adults will be given Moderna.
Appointments for both first and seond doses are available, as long as the first dose was received at least 28 days prior.
