The Ministry of Transportation Ontario reports the section of Highway 17 from Highway 563 at Batchawana to Highway 101 at Wawa is closed in both directions.
The ministry website says that section of Highway 17 is closed due to the weather, no detour is available and the duration of the closure is unknown
