Congratulations to Christopher Sierzputowski of Sault Ste. Marie for winning $479,606.40 in the June 2, 2018 Lottario draw. Christopher also won $4 for matching three of six numbers on another selection, bringing his total winnings to $479,610.40.

“I’ve been playing the lottery for many years,” shared Christopher, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I enjoy playing Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max, but Lottario is my favourite.”

Following the draw, Christopher checked his ticket on the OLG Lottery app, and then again at the retailer. “I called my wife as soon as my big win was confirmed,” Christopher smiled. “She agreed that it was awesome!

The 58-year old father of twins plans to help his children. “Our kids just graduated, so this will help ease their debt,” Christopher said.

Christopher, a technician at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, also plans on taking a trip with his wife to celebrate their upcoming 30th wedding anniversary, upgrading their vehicles and enjoying more golf.

“I am ecstatic, and very comforted. The best thing about this is knowing I can help my kids,” Christopher concluded.

Lottario launched in 1978 as Ontario’s first on-line terminal lotto game. Tickets are $1 and the draws take place every Saturday. Tickets are sold until 10:30 p.m. For more information, please visit the Lotteries section on OLG.ca.

The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Louisa Street in Parry Sound.
