Bet you didn’t think all this cold April weather could have possibly have an upside.

Well it does.

Searchmont Resort is opening up the hill for two more days this coming weekend, thanks to support from a group of local sponsors.

The double and triple lifts and the Poma lift will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s free for 2017/18 and 2018/19 season’s pass holders.

Pricing for everyone else is as follows:

  • $25 for adults
  • $20 for youth/seniors
  • $10 for junior

All rentals are $25.

Twenty-five percent of proceeds from ticket sales will go to Pauline's Place.

There will be no Snow School or Outpost.

But you will be able to snack on hamburgers, hot dogs and fries.

Sponsors for the extended weekend are Wishart Law Firm LLP, Great Lakes Honda and Village Media/SooToday/DIG.
