The following statement was issued this afternoon by Dr. Howard Tait, chief of staff at Sault Area Hospital:

********************* On Sunday, February 20, 2005, the Sault Area Hospital lost a colleague and friend, Dr. Graeme Johnson, to a sudden illness.

He was a fine physician who had helped many of us both personally and in his professional capacity as an anaesthetist many times throughout the years.

He will be missed dearly but fondly remembered.

Our sincere condolences to his wife and three children, family and friends.
