Home suffers extensive damage in London Street fire

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Service crews were called to a reported residential fire in the downtown area of the city.

Shortly after midnight, fire crews responded to a fire in the 0-100 block of London Street. Crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries to report.

There is extensive damage to the residence. The fire remains under investigation.
