Highway traffic moving again after tanker truck crash (5 photos)

A fuel truck and a passenger car were involved in a collision this afternoon

A collision between a tanker truck and a passenger car briefly halted highway traffic on Second Line East this afternoon.

Police and firefighters are on scene near the intersection of Second Line and Black Road.

Traffic appears to be flowing normally as of 4:30 p.m., but had been tied up heading north on Black Road and heading east on Second Line East toward Black Road.

Sault Police Cst. Sonny Spina told SooToday there were no injuries.

Damage to the rear end of the sedan is heavy.

Sault firefighters were mopping up a spill at the scene of the accident.
