HIGHWAY 17 NORTH CLOSED Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

The O.P.P. in conjunction with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario would like to advise you that Highway 17 North of Sault Ste. Marie is closed from the weigh scales at Heyden to the junction of Highway 101 at Wawa.

At 4 p.m. today the highway had been closed from Batchewana to Wawa but at 4:50 p.m. the closure was extended to start at Heyden.

The closure is necessary due to blowing snow and poor road conditions. When the situation changes, it will be posted here.
